British Genre Fiction Focus has introduced a new column by Niall Alexander, focusing on new releases in UK genre fiction. The first one covers, among other things, six science fiction and fantasy books published in the UK in January… including The Eye With Which The Universe Beholds Itself, the second book of the Apollo Quartet. Incidentally, UPS tried to deliver five boxes from the printer on Tuesday. I’ve had to re-schedule the delivery to Friday. But once I have them – that’s it, that’s The Eye With Which The Universe Beholds Itself officially published and available to buy. Pre-orders will be shipped out next week. And the Kindle version will go up on Amazon this weekend.

And after that, I’ll need to get started on the research for book three, Then Will The Great Ocean Wash Deep Above. I’ve already bought a couple of books on the subject, and even a DVD-only documentary. I’ll post an update on the writing a few months from now. For the time-being, I have a few other projects I’d like to get done – some short fiction, an unrelated novella, some novel treatments…
